Laura Paddick
Laura Paddick has always been passionate about art and storytelling. Growing up, she loved watching movies more than anything else! So, when she was eighteen years old, she studied cinema and theatre at university in Brittany (France) and earned a master’s degree. Then she entered an acting competition and won a professional performing course for one year at the Studio Muller, an acting school in Paris. Driven by her passion for storytelling, at the age of twenty-five she wrote her very first novel in English (which she is currently polishing). She also took part in French writing competitions, and after being a finalist in Prix de la Nouvelle Humoristique Francophone 2017, her first short story “Notre Catastrophe Préférée” was published in “En attendant les catastrophes”, a collection of stories brought together by the association Libres Plumes. In 2020, Cherry Publishing publishes Laura’s debut novel “To Be Loved”. A heartfelt New Adult fiction, filled with surprises! In her spare time, she reads many books about emotions, psychology, personal development, and she is fascinated by the human mind. Laura is bilingual, therefore writes in both English and French.
